School BeauceSchool invites you to an immersive experience with Éric Naaman, CEO of Damotech, on March 26–27, 2026, as part of the ÉLITE Program.

Éric Naaman is a seasoned entrepreneur with an unconventional background who has always put people first. Generous and dedicated, he now heads Damotech, a rapidly growing manufacturing company specializing in warehouse racking systems.

Born in Beirut to an engineer father and a caterer mother, Éric left Lebanon several times due to the ravages of the civil war and eventually immigrated to Canada at the age of 21.

While studying mechanical engineering, but an artist at heart, Éric was drawn to the visual arts and decided to pursue his passion for commercial and advertising photography—a calling that would become a career he would practice with great success for 20 years. Projects came one after another, each unique, and his interest in both the visual aspect and the commercial impact of his work for his clients was at the heart of his approach. Éric helped develop campaigns on both local and global scales and won several awards for his work.

It wasn’t until the advent of the digital revolution and the industry’s struggle to adapt economically to this technological shift that Éric sought a new adventure outside the world of visual communications. In 2010, following a three-year search, Éric acquired Damotech, a small company with 15 employees based in Boisbriand that had a great mission but a weak marketing strategy.

Drawing on his previous experience, Éric implemented a branding and marketing plan featuring a rich and distinctive visual identity—something that was unprecedented in the industrial sector in which Damotech operated. The impact was immediate, and the company began its march to market dominance.

In addition, Éric has a deep interest in team dynamics and their impact on workplace performance and well-being. He has developed a passion for corporate culture and personal development and has come to realize that his purpose as an entrepreneur is to inspire people to surpass themselves through an extraordinary work experience. He was named “Dream Boss” par “The Gazette” for initiatives place the company and selected for the award “Ernst and Young, Entrepreneur of the year”.

In 2015, Damotech moved into a new LEED-certified facility that reflects its values and began a phase of rapid growth that continues to this day, making it the largest player in its field in North America. Over the past four years, the company has been ranked among Canada’s fastest-growing companies, the “growth 500” and the “top 400 fastest growing companies” from The Globe and Mail. In 2021, Damotech was also voted Company de L’Année par the Sainte-Thérèse de Blainville Chamber of Commerce (CCITB).

Éric firmly believes that doing business well and doing good are not mutually exclusive. He is involved in several community initiatives and is particularly proud of his own involvement—and that of Damotech—with the organization Jeunesse au Soleil.
