School BeauceSchool invites you to an immersive experience with Véronique Tougas, President of the Cambli Group, on December 12–13, 2023, as part of the Élite Program.

Véronique Tougas has been the majority shareholder of Groupe Cambli since 2016 and has served the presidency of the family business since 2010. Before taking the helm of the organization, she had served as Vice President of Finance since 2002. A determined entrepreneur, she has over 20 years of experience in the and is recognized for her leadership and professional achievements in Quebec and on the international stage. Notably, she succeeded in doubling profitability of Groupe Cambli in 18 months, managed several growth phases, and expand the company’s business internationally.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Ms. Tougas is also a with extensive experience who is deeply involved in the business community of the Haut-Richelieu region. Gifted at mobilizing talent and developing , she serves on several boards of directors, notably those of NexDev (Economic Council) as chair and vice-chair and as a founding member of InnoSécur, a nonprofit organization that promotes the emergence of innovation partnerships between research centers and companies. Ms. Tougas also serves on the board of directors of the SJM. She also served for two years on the board of directors of the Corporation Fort St-Jean Corporation. She co-founded the olive oil production company Divine Olive in Morocco in 2005. Finally, Ms. Tougas is one of the ambassadors for the Quebec Business Transfer Centre (CTEQ).

His career has been marked by numerous accolades, including the “Business Leader of the Year” and “Manufacturing Company of the Year” from the Haut-Richelieu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2019. In 2012, she received the “HEC Excellence in Leadership Award (SME Category),” and in 2019, she became a winner of the 13th “PWC Rising Stars” competition. In 2021 and 2022, she was recognized as a winner in the “Medium-Sized Businesses” category during the 2nd and 3rd editions of the Women in Business Awards.

Ms. Tougas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration fromSchool of Higher Commercial Studies and is a member of the Ordre des CPA du Québec. She is also part of the 2015 cohort of the Effet A program and the 2013 cohort of the Quantum Shift program at the Richard Ivey Business School.
