IT and Technology Technician

School de Beauce (EEB) is looking for a resourceful and dynamic IT technician to support and enhance our technological infrastructure. We believe in the power of technology to transform education, and we need your help to make this vision a reality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to users;
• Install, configure, and maintain computer equipment (computers, printers, peripherals);
• Propose optimization solutions to better support your clients and colleagues;
• Document technical processes and procedures;
• Help update various digital systems (website, CRM, ERP, etc.);
• Promote and contribute to the implementation of best practices in IT security;
• Work with suppliers on the procurement and maintenance of equipment and software;
• Ensure that the classrooms are in good working order;
• Train users on how to properly operate the equipment and software.

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or a related field;
• Have a good knowledge of computers;
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems;
• Strong customer service and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Website management skills;
• Experience in managing CRM and ERP systems;
• Advantage: Knowledge of audio-visual technology.
