Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital, the IT technician ensures the smooth operation of IT systems in collaboration with place vendors place supports the team in resolving technical issues place provides appropriate solutions. More than just a support role, this is a key position in driving digital transformation and AI at the heart of our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

IT and Support

  • Work with suppliers on procurement and maintenance
  • Provide place remote technical support (Level 1 and Level 2)
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer equipment
  • Manage the network (preventive maintenance and troubleshooting)
  • Ensure that the rooms and workspaces are functioning properly

 

Audiovisual

  • Manage equipment and provide support during events
  • Optimizing the quality of audio and video experiences

 

Continuous improvement

  • Document technical processes and solutions
  • Contribute to the technology strategy and its development
  • Automate processes and monitor technological developments (AI, tools)
  • Promote best practices in IT security
  • Train users and support the evolution of digital platforms

 

Artificial Intelligence

  • Help with the deployment and integration of AI tools
  • Support teams in their adoption
  • Document and share best practices

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • DEP in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience 
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Knowledge of audiovisual media
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar), automation, and emerging technologies
  • Understanding of basic data principles (collection, organization, integration)

Terms and Conditions

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • Work location: In-person at 18255 Lacroix Blvd., St-Georges, G5Y 5B8
