Cancellation, Deferral and Waiver Policies

For our Élite and Émergence programs, our coaching and conferences as well as our individual sales.

Programs Élite and Émergence

Participation deferral policy

Before starting Élite or Émergence

  • No postponement requests will be accepted 30 days or less before the scheduled cohort launch date.
  • More than 30 days before the scheduled cohort launch date, a person who has been admitted may defer his or her participation to a subsequent cohort by agreement with management. However, only one deferral per person is permitted, otherwise the admission process will have to be repeated.

The course fees will be those in effect for the new date of course and not those of your initial admission. There may therefore be an increase in cost.

Cancellation policy

Before starting Élite or Émergence

  • 30 days or less: The 1st payment is non-refundable. It will be required or withheld.
  • More than 30 days: A credit equivalent to the first payment will be applied to your file (applicable on courses products offered atEEB).

Waiver policy

During Élite or Émergence programs:

If for reasons of force majeure* you have to leave the Élite or Émergence programs:

  • An amount representing the value of the stays that have taken place and the value of two stays following the date of the notice of cancellation will be demanded or retained.
  • In the event of an overpayment on your file, the difference between the payment already received and the value established in the preceding paragraph is non-refundable. However, a credit of course on courses products offered atEEB will be applied to your file.

All requests for postponements, cancellations and waivers must be sent as soon as possible to Laurie Roy at [email protected] or 418-228-5558 #347.

*For greater clarity, the reasons for force majeure accepted by management are: serious illness of the participant, death or serious illness of a close family member including spouse and children, and bankruptcy.

Coaching and conferences

In the event of cancellation more than 30 working days before the start date of the service, the deposit will be refunded and 15% of the total amount of the agreement will be invoiced byEEB to cover costs and expenses incurred.

In the event of cancellation between 30 and 11 working days before the service start date, no deposit refund will be made.

In the event of cancellation 10 working days or less prior to the service start date, the full amount of the quote will be invoiced and due toEEB.

In the event of force majeure, as defined by article 1470 of the CCQ, an unforeseeable, irresistible event not attributable to one of the parties that makes performance of the obligation absolutely impossible, the parties agree to postpone delivery of the proposal. The parties agree to find a date for postponing delivery, preferably within one year of the scheduled delivery date, and the parties agree that there will be no penalty.

Unit sales (intensive stays, Immersions, etc.)

The Consumer Protection Act applies. In the event of cancellation before the start of your stay or your course, the amounts already paid will be reimbursed. To do so, a written confirmation confirming the cancellation must be sent toSchool d'Entrepreneurship de Beauce.

In the event of anunannounced absence prior to the course event, the amount paid will not be reimbursed, as the course event will have taken place. In the case of rescheduled stays for contractor-athletes, you have 14 days before the stay to postpone your attendance, failing which you will lose your reschedule and will no longer be able to take it.
